Are you pregnant or have you just had a baby? Congratulations! The Birthing Clinic of The Hague is for all women who are pregnant or have just had a baby – and their partners. You are entering an exciting and special time: the birth of your baby. As new or future parent/parents, you naturally want to prepare yourself as well as possible for this period. You will be confronted with a great many new things which, of course, go hand-in-hand with questions and uncertainty:

• Where do I/we want to have our baby?
• What should I know about pain control?
• Who is going to help me at night and in the evenings when the maternity nurse is not there?
• How do I care for my baby?

The Birthing Clinic of The Hague combines the advantages of a home birth with that of an out-patient delivery. Alongside of the homey and calming atmosphere of our maternity and birthing rooms, we offer 24-hour personal and expert care and guidance. The unique aspect is that the Birthing Clinic is affiliated with a hospital. In the case of medical complications, you can be transferred to the adjoining MCH Westeinde within five minutes.
