The Birthing Clinic feels strongly about providing good information during the pregnancy and also after the lying-in period. We therefore organize various information evenings and courses:

Information evening Birthing Clinic with tour
When: every Monday evening from 7.00-8.30 pm
For whom: everyone involved with pregnancy and delivery: the pregnant woman, partners, grandparents and other interested parties (max. 3 persons).
Costs: free (register beforehand)
Everything about breastfeeding!
This is an information afternoon given by a lactation consultant IBCLC in collaboration with Kraamzorg Wereld Wonder [Maternity Care World Wonder]. This person is a specialist in the area of breastfeeding and can provide guidance to you and the maternity nurse if there are problems – urgent or otherwise – with the breastfeeding.
When: every Thursday afternoon from 1.30 to around 4.00 pm.
Costs: this afternoon is free for clients of the Birthing Clinic and Kraamzorg Wereld Wonder. Other interested persons pay a single fee of € 10,-.
The subjects that are discussed are:
- Breastfeeding during the first days after birth
- Breastfeeding after the lying-in period
- Breastfeeding and the role of the partner
- Breastfeeding and work
- Breastfeeding aids
Consultation with the lactation consultant
You may call in the lactation consultant at any time for a consult, whether or not you are a client of the Birthing Clinic or Kraamzorg Wereld Wonder.
Many health insurance providers cover a consult with a lactation consultant in the supplementary package. Refer to the terms of your policy for this.
